    What’s in Your Water?

Do you agree with me when I tell you, you need to filter your tap water? I have found some skepticism when I’ve discussed this before. But just take a look…

A landmark new report from the non-profit Environmental Working Group reveals the sad state of our nation’s tap water…

The Biggest Risk for Liver Damage Is Not Alcohol

The Biggest Risk for Liver Damage Is Not Alcohol

Most of my patients figure as long as they don’t overuse alcohol or drugs, their liver is safe.

But alcohol isn’t your biggest worry.

If you’re overweight, your liver is in real trouble.

Evidence suggests that alcohol contributes to only 6% of liver damage. The much higher risk factor for liver damage is obesity. It alone contributes to 52% of liver disease…

Ignite Your Fat Blowtorch in 2010

The women in my office tell me their New Year’s resolutions are easy this year… In fact, they’re already making good on their promise to burn fat and drop the extra pounds.

Of course, they have an advantage.

The women in my office have a reliable supply of Primal Lean.

If you don’t know about it yet, Primal Lean is my new fat burner. It’s a combination of two breakthrough ingredients, irvingia and fucoxanthin. Together, they safely suppress your appetite and rebalance your body’s “fat signals.” That means your body makes less fat. And the fat your body does have gets burned for energy, instead of being stored…

    Merry Christmas!

    Merry Christmas!

Did you ever hear that suicides increase on Christmas? Well, how about some good news? It’s just not true. I looked it up in every database I could find. And, well … it’s a myth.

But it is true that when Christmas rolls around, and the days are shorter, your bodily rhythms get out of kilter, and you may experience Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD syndrome. SAD is what we used to call the “winter blues.” Even here in sunny Florida, the days aren’t quite as bright or as long, and we start feeling the effects.

The thing about SAD is you may not even know you have it. You just know you feel a little down. And the added stress of the holidays can add to the problem…

Swine Flu Is Still a Danger

    The swine flu is lingering.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says 50 million Americans have been infected so far.

My office is still getting a lot of mail and phone calls about it. And when it comes to you and my patients, I do have concerns.

The swine flu isn’t the huge pandemic the fear-mongers were predicting. But it’s having widespread effects… especially on the elderly and those who have a low immune threshold.

And here’s the real problem: If you’ve been loading up on a lot of refined foods… if you aren’t getting enough antioxidants… if you’re stressed out and not getting enough sleep… if you suffer from recurrent inflammation…

    The Day is Finally Here…

    The Day is Finally Here…

You are one of the first to see this.

For the first time you have access to my new PACE program.

For two years I’ve been re-working PACE to make it simpler and easier to follow, especially if you feel out-of-shape or too busy to get started.

I first published PACE back in November of 2006. It’s the first complete program that protects your heart, pumps up your lung volume, and burns fat in just 12 minutes a day.

Today, thousands of people from a dozen countries around the world are practicing my PACE program. And hundreds have sent me letters and emails, including my own patients here in South Florida…

    Flu Shot Foul Up

You may have taken the flu shot this winter…

Along with that, your doctor may have given you a pain reliever such as Tylenol, ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin (NSAIDs) to avoid crankiness and irritability as the vaccine takes effect.

    Most doctors even recommend it.

But the combination of vaccine and NSAID isn’t such a great idea…

    Most Doctors Make This Mistake…

When I see patients here at my clinic, there’s one thing I recommend more than anything else. And it’s not a drug.

It’s so critical to health and longevity, just about everyone I see needs at least 50 mg a day.

I take it myself everyday… without fail.

This nutrient is essential if you:

    * Are concerned about the pumping power of your heart…
    * Want to support your brain and ensure a continuous supply of energy…
    * Are having those “senior moments”…
    * Worry about feeling blue…
    * Want to support a strong immune system…

Know you don’t have the energy you used to and need an extra boost to keep going…

Lance Armstrong Takes This for Energy

Lance Armstrong Takes This for Energy

World-class cyclist Lance Armstrong uses a powerful nutrient to safely and naturally boost his athletic performance.

It’s so reliable; Olympians and serious exercisers are flocking to it for help during strenuous workouts.1

I’m talking about quercetin, a powerful antioxidant/anti-inflammatory bioflavonoid that also boosts the immune system and increases mitochondria (the powerhouse of the cell) in your muscles and brain.

Did You Ask Your Doctor About This?

When you ask your doctor for “help in the bedroom,” you’re rolling the dice.

You might get help; you might not.

Let me be clear: When doctors offer a pill as a solution, they have the right idea. But they make a big mistake. A mistake that goes unnoticed by all of mainstream medicine. Even the “alternative” doctors aren’t aware of this…

    Ward Off More Than Vampires

You can’t turn on a TV or pick up a magazine or newspaper these days without seeing the latest, scary statistics about this season’s flu epidemic.

But what can you do about it?

Well, first, you can try to prevent getting sick in the first place. You can take advantage of something you probably already have in your own kitchen … garlic.

    These Guys Walk on Fire?

    These Guys Walk on Fire?

When I was in India I met “yogis” or meditation masters who had remarkable powers of concentration.

Simply by focusing on their breath they could change their heart rate, raise their body temperature, and even walk on burning-hot coals.

In your daily life you probably don’t have the need or opportunity to walk on hot coals, but the power to quiet your mind gives you more control over your health than any pill or prescription.

    “Forgotten” Vitamin Destroys Cancer Cells

This “forgotten” vitamin can prevent cancer and destroy certain types of cancer cells.

Its anti-cancer properties were first discovered by accident.

Researchers in Japan were studying this vitamin’s role in the prevention of bone loss in women with cirrhosis.

It’s well known that those with cirrhosis of the liver due to viral infection (like Hepatitis C, for example) are at a much higher risk of developing cancer.

    What 60 Minutes Missed

When resveratrol made its debut on CBS’s 60 Minutes it was a watershed event. A major media outlet finally acknowledged a natural nutrient could slow the way you age and keep you younger longer.

But the show’s producers missed the bigger message.

This tears down the long held beliefs about your genetic code. It changed everything overnight.

Hot Flashes, Hormones, and Red Wine

I just saw a new study that shows why women especially love how resveratrol makes them feel. It may combat the symptoms of menopause as effectively as hormone replacement drugs. And it does it without the cancer and other risks.

This is a remarkable discovery. It gives you one more weapon to combat the hot flashes, night sweats, and worse that come with “the change.”

These Deadly Toxins are in Your Blood Right Now…

A horrific study hit my desk. Many of my patients have a hard time believing it. But you need to do something.

It found 287 chemicals and other toxins in the blood of newborn babies.1 One of the pesticides that turned up the most was a by-product of DDT – a pesticide banned in 1972.
