Dear Health Conscious Reader,

Your skin needs two things to be beautiful:

Water, and…

Good nutrition

But there’s a problem. As you age, your skin loses the ability to hold water and take in nutrients. That leads to dry, sagging skin.

Here’s the good news:

You simply need an effective way to keep water in your cells and get more of the nutrients you need.

Here at my clinic, I use a rejuvenating formula that restores youthful skin, without the chemicals that pollute your skin.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1 is protecting your skin from the sun, pollution, free radicals, and the destructive effects of aging.

When you were younger, it was much easier. Your skin had a natural resilience that kept you looking your best.

There are nutrients in your skin that protect cells from damage. One of the best is CoQ10. Turns out it’s not just good for heart health. You can use CoQ10 on your skin for a beautiful complexion.

CoQ10 helps your face look younger by restoring youthful energy levels inside the cell, and protecting against future damage.

In one study titled, “The Importance of CoQ10 for Anti-Aging Skin Care,” researchers showed how CoQ10 keeps older cells functioning more like younger cells. Their discovery was published in the medical journal Biofactors.1

Having younger cells means you look younger. But when your face isn’t protected, you start looking old before your time.

The sun, pollution, a poor diet, and other toxins in your environment attack your face in the form of “oxidative stress,” or “free radical attack.” Free radicals are electrons that break away and attack healthy cells.

And here’s the thing…

Free radicals hit each cell in your face 10,000 times a day. Now multiply that by the billions of cells in your face, and you can imagine what you’re up against.

Apply CoQ10, and the cells in your skin stay younger longer.

Cell line studies support it. A team of researchers in Japan found CoQ10 protected skin cells from death caused by oxidative stress.2

That means you have an effective way to look more vibrant and prevent future damage. It all boils down to giving your face the nutrients it needs to stay looking young.

But there’s more to CoQ10… it helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, too.

Another team of scientists discovered CoQ10 decreases the appearance of wrinkle depth. So, instead of deep grooves in your face, CoQ10 helps make those wrinkles appear shallow and less noticeable.3

Step 2 for younger, more beautiful skin is water.

When your skin cells have enough water, they hold their shape. That means your skin feels taut and elastic.

The key is water… or more importantly, the nutrient that helps attract and retain water.

I’m talking about hyaluronic acid (HA).

Found in every tissue of your body, HA can hold 1,000 times its own weight in water. In your face, HA is essential. You find it in the gel-like matrix just below the surface of your skin. It surrounds the collagen fibers that give your face its shape.

When you’re young, levels of HA are high. And all the extra water gives your face that clean, firm shape.

But, like CoQ10 and other nutrients, levels of HA start to drop off as you get older. And the loss of HA makes your skin appear dry and wrinkly… even saggy and droopy.

HA puts back the water you lose with age.4 And that helps restore the tight, elastic shape you remember from your college days.

When you retain enough moisture and give your skin the nutrients it needs, college-age skin returns.

I’ve prepared a special formula to do exactly that for you. I’ve managed to put both CoQ10 and HA into a toner you apply directly to your face daily.

Simply wash your face and apply CoQ-Tone with a cotton ball or pad. That’s it.

You’ll start to see – and feel – the difference right away.

Unlike other toners, CoQ-Tone won’t dry your skin. It never feels greasy or oily, and it’s safe enough to use on very sensitive skin. It’s so gentle you can use it after you’ve had a facial, peel, or microdermabrasion.

Every morning, you’ll notice:

Better, brighter complexion

The appearance of more even color and better tone

No irritation or burning

Soothing, moisturizing quality with a smooth surface feel

Reduction in the appearance of blemishes

Smaller, tighter pores

Tight, elastic skin

And you’ll look great.

Water and good nutrition means younger, more beautiful appearing skin.

Until now CoQ-Tone was only available to my patients.

I want you to feel this for yourself.

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

Did you see the recent cover of TIME magazine?

In a special issue on aging, TIME featured the Nobel Prize winning breakthrough on telomere research.

In the article, Scientists Get Closer to Understanding Why We Age, they confirmed that telomeres “are the closest we may come to identifying a biological clock – and our best bet for learning how to stop or turn back that clock.”1

If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know telomeres are the part of your chromosome that gets smaller as you age. When the telomere runs out, cell division stops, and life comes to an end.

But here’s the deal: There are simple ways to stop the loss of the telomere. You don’t have to wait for a new drug to benefit from this breakthrough.

During my conference on the telomere and aging, I revealed these simple steps you can take to ensure a long “health span” and fight off chronic diseases like cancer.

You can find out more below…

Harrel E. “Scientists Get Closer to Understanding Why We Age,” TIME, Feb 15, 2010.

There’s a hidden switch in every cell of your body. It controls how long you live… and when you die.

It has the power to extend life – maybe indefinitely.

Most doctors have never heard of it.

A group of scientists stumbled upon it just 10 years ago. They watched in awe as generation after generation of cells multiplied… without aging.

As one top researcher put it in a Harvard report, “With this switch turned on, these cells become ‘immortalized.’”1

Until very recently, we didn’t know how to activate it. Today we do.

We’ve uncovered the very mechanism by which you age. And we’ve found a simple compound that flips that switch.

For the first time ever, you can affect that process.

You’ll be in the front row as my team of leading anti-aging experts and I walk you through the process in my brand-new DVD.

It’s called TA-65. Simply put, it’s the greatest breakthrough in the history of anti-aging medicine.

Recently, a select group flew in across the country to hear about the new TA-65 science.

At $500 a ticket, it was a pretty exclusive event. That’s why I hired a video production crew to film it. We wanted to make this something you could experience at home.

When you play the DVD, you’ll have the secrets behind TA-65’s rejuvenating power. And I’ll show you 6 simple steps to activate your anti-aging gene – right away.

You’ll also hear people whose immortality gene is already “switched on.”

In fact, my colleagues and I are personally undergoing this historic anti-aging treatment ourselves. We’ll share with you the changes they’ve seen in a matter of months, sharper vision to enhanced mental powers.

You’ll hear about people like Bob Hayes. At 82 he regularly runs 50-mile races – and bests competitors half his age.

Or Helen Klein. She just broke the world record for marathoners aged 85-90 – by over an hour.

TA-65’s power lies in a genetic structure called the telomere. It’s the mechanism that controls aging. It’s also the key to total health.

What are your telomeres? They’re protective tips that cap the ends of your DNA.

Each time your cells divide, your telomeres get shorter. When your telomeres run down, cell division stops and your life ends.

For the first time in history, we can influence – and even slow – this process.

The secret lies in an enzyme called telomerase. Telomerase makes your telomeres longer. That means your cells actually get younger as time goes by.

Simply put, telomerase turns back the hands of time. It’s in every cell of your body, but it’s turned off. TA-65 switches it back on.

It’s not just your lifespan we’re talking about here. Telomeres are dramatic indicators of your overall health.

Here’s some of the evidence:

Aging/Los Angeles Times:2

Your risk of heart attack increases the faster your telomeres break down. Scientists looked at people in perfect health… who later died of heart disease. They found the death rate due to heart attack was three times higher for men whose telomeres got short the fastest. The death rate for women was 2.3 times higher. (2009)

Journals of Gerontology:3

100-year-olds in good health had “significantly longer” telomeres than those with health problems. (2008)

American Heart Association:4

People with shorter telomeres in their immune cells had twice the risk of death heart failure as patients with the longest telomeres. The study, published in one of its key journals, looked at over 750 people with heart disease. The highest-risk group had telomeres half the length of the lowest-risk group. (2008)

Psychosomatic Medicine:5

Women with shorter telomeres are more likely to be overweight and insulin-resistant. (2008)

American Association for Cancer Research:6

One of its flagship journals published a potential link between telomere length and colon cancer. (2006)

Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences:7

People with short telomeres are more likely to suffer weaker immune systems and greater heart disease risk. (2004)

And the prestigious journal Lancet backed up my 6 steps to switch on your immortality gene.8

It came a study led by Dr. Dean Ornish. He found that the same lifestyle changes you’ll find in my TA-65 DVD can boost your telomerase levels by 29 percent.

You can see just how important your “immortality gene” is to your life and health. You really can “switch it on.”

Find out what you can do to start “growing younger” right in your own home.

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

Omega-3s may determine how long you’ll live – and it’s not just because they’re good for your heart.

Omega-3s may now have a profound effect on anti-aging by slowing down the shortening of telomeres.

What are telomeres? They’re protective tips that cap the ends of your DNA. Each time your cells divide, your telomeres get shorter. When your telomeres run down, cell division stops, and your life ends.

While this may sound like a clip from a science fiction movie, it’s real. And it’s about to change the world of medicine. Everything you’ve been told about aging is about to be transformed by this new science.

You may not have heard about this new breakthrough yet. That doesn’t surprise me.

Organized forces in the mainstream media and established medical community don’t want you to know about this. Even though the Nobel Prize was awarded last year for telomere research, the importance of this life-changing discovery has been ignored.

In fact, they say anti-aging is impossible.

But the truth is it’s now possible to slow down the shortening of your telomeres. I just read about it in a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), which confirmed the connection with Omega-3s.1

Just because you may not be hearing about this on the evening news, don’t let that stop you from taking advantage of this important scientific breakthrough.

You already know the many benefits of Omega-3s. Now it’s possible for you to add years to your life, simply by doing something you already believe in. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Here are three steps you can take to bulk-up on Omega-3s right now:

Step 1: Eat fresh fish three or four times a week. I recommend coldwater, high-fat variety fish like:

Albacore tuna

Mackerel

Salmon

Sardines

Lake trout

Swordfish

Herring

Step 2: Eat more raw nuts and seeds. For many years, nuts have gotten a bad rap for being high in fat. But in reality, nuts are a great source of Omega-3 and other life-enhancing nutrients. Here are some of my favorites:

Flaxseeds and flaxseed oil

Soybeans and soybean oil

Walnuts

Brazil nuts

Almonds

Hemp seeds

Pumpkin seeds

Step 3: Take 3 to 5 grams of Omega-3 fish oil a day. I recommend my formulation of Peruvian fish oil that packs two to three times the Omega-3s you find in leading brands, and five times more Omega-3s than a can of tuna – without the mercury. These oils can help you:

Strengthen your heart and blood vessels

Maintain blood pressure levels that are already within the normal range

Help support joint and muscle health

Keep your triglycerides (blood fat) in the safe range

Sustain healthy HDL (good cholesterol) levels

Boost your memory and brainpower

Protect your blood vessels and nerves

To Your Good Health,

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

I knew I was on to something important. My patients were already telling me, “This stuff is amazing…” and now I have the scientific evidence I was looking for.

It’s going to change the way you think about “vitality” forever.

A new study has shown that you can take a simple action to double your level of energy.

My patients are already doing it.

What does this mean?

It means you get more power, energy and endurance. It improves your mood and makes you feel more positive – more optimistic about life.*

I call it your “feel good factor.”

Check out this Accel CoQ10 graph:

Courtesy Kaneka Nutrients L.P. Unpublished Study, 2008

This graph shows you can “turn up” the feeling of strength, happiness and optimism. You can feel really good about life again. People just like you are already doing it.*

How does it work? It feeds your cells massive amounts of fresh energy… and this supply of energy keeps your cells younger. You go “back in time” and feel the way you did years ago.*

Feeling good is not all in your head. There’s a biological connection…

Here’s what happened: Men and women living in a nursing home were studied for 9 months. They were all between the ages of 69 and 87.

Before they started, they filled out a “SF-36 questionnaire.” SF-36 is the best-known questionnaire for measuring your health status. It’s been used in over 2,000 published research studies. It was so carefully developed; the results it produces are agreed to be statistically reliable and valid.

When these folks filled out the SF-36 a second time the results were amazing: Mental health scores went up by over 30%… and vitality scores went up by over 100%!*

But this new study is only the latest development in a remarkable story that started three years ago.

In 2006 I had a private meeting with Dr. Tatsumasa Mae, the best-known and most highly regarded CoQ10 researcher in the world. He was visiting from Japan. We met in my Florida office to talk about his latest breakthrough:

A new form of CoQ10 that’s 8 times more powerful than conventional CoQ10.

Being 8 times more powerful doesn’t mean it’s just 8 times better. The truth is more remarkable. This new type of CoQ10 will give you the opportunity to make gains on a scale that defies comparison.

World Renowned Inventor Dr. Mae from Japan and Dr. Sears.

Conventional CoQ10 works wonders but the problem I’ve had is keeping my patients’ blood levels high enough. They often require high doses, and that sometimes means taking 4 to 6 capsules a day of at least 200 mg. That’s troublesome and expensive.

But this new form lets me give a single 50 mg capsule to those same patients who were taking 6 at 200 mg. That’s great but it’s just the beginning… The fact that it stays in the blood stream so much longer means its affect is much more powerful.

I couldn’t say it before, but I can say it now: With this powerful new natural stimulant you can turn back your aging clock – and with a much smaller dose!*

You get all the benefits you’ve been getting with the regular CoQ10, but much bigger and much better!

The increase in endurance is simply stunning:

“I am a 70-year-old man and I have been taking Dr. Sears’ formula for 2 1/2 months. On a recent treadmill stress test, I was told that I did as well as several patients tested that were in their 20s.” **

– John H., Bradenton, FL

And that’s only the beginning. A few years down the road, we may find that Accel CoQ10 makes age-related memory loss and other conditions associated with aging a thing of the past!*

I am confident of this: This breakthrough will change the face of anti-aging medicine forever. Some of the laboratory videos Dr. Mae showed me and my staff were absolutely amazing!

One video of their research showed 3 groups of mice and how they aged. One group was given the new high-powered form of CoQ10. The second took conventional CoQ10. The third group was given no CoQ10 at all.

The mice were all the same age and allowed to age normally. After several months the mice taking no CoQ10 died of natural causes. They showed typical signs of aging and oxidative stress.

The second group, taking conventional CoQ10, was still alive but showed signs of aging. They lasted longer but when they died they had similar conditions to the first group.

The third group, which took the high-powered form, was not just still alive; they looked like strong, young mice. They were running around in their cages with all the vigor of mice half their age!

And in spite of being old, they showed no signs of aging!

We were all amazed. I sent bottles of to all my family. And my employees did too.

I see similar changes in my patients too.

“Once I started, I felt incredibly better; my mind was sharp throughout the day and my energy was boundless. Thank you, Dr. Sears!” **

– Patty Newfane, VT

“My hands don’t ache, my vision is much sharper and my memory is sharper. I feel better and my mood is much calmer. I believe this can be attributed to Accel. Now I would not be without it.”

– Susan D., Junction City, KS

And that’s why I’m writing you today…

I don’t want you to be without this critical power boost. I designed my own formula around Dr. Mae’s high-powered CoQ10. I call it Accel.

In the next few pages I will explain exactly how Accel works, and why it is so much better than conventional CoQ10. I will also tell you how you can use it to treat yourself and your family.

The high concentration is the key to Accel’s amazing potential. Let me explain…

Unless you take action, CoQ10 starts to disappear.

You’ll find CoQ10 in high concentrations in your heart, brain and all your major organs. As you know, it helps to generate much needed energy and has an effect on the cardiovascular system. But levels start dropping at the age of 20.

This graph tells the whole story:

By the time you’re 80, most of your CoQ10 has disappeared. And that’s bad news…

In addition to supplying energy, CoQ10 is a powerful antioxidant. The “slow burn” we use for fuel damages tissues like fire burns everything it contacts. The action of CoQ10’s antioxidant power puts out this fire and protects your organs and tissues from damage.*

Aside from giving your heart and brain the extra fuel it needs to keep working, it preserves them and keeps them in working order for much longer.*

Think of a sandwich. If you leave it lying on your kitchen counter, the bread gets stale and the meat starts to rot. But put it in a zip-loc bag and throw it in the fridge and it stays fresh for weeks. This is a simple example of the type of anti-aging power that CoQ10 gives you.

The new form of CoQ10 in Accel makes these protective benefits even greater and more reliable. And it makes the cost of getting a therapeutic dose much lower.

New research is opening up a new world of CoQ10 benefits. These include:

Blood Sugar: An Australian study showed that patients who took CoQ10 were able to maintain healthy blood sugar levels that were already within the normal range.*1

Vision and Eye Health: A recent clinical trial showed adults who supplemented with a combination of CoQ10, acetyl-L-carnitine, and omega-3 fatty acids for one year improved their visual function.*2

Easier Breathing: Researchers in Texas found a correlation between CoQ10 levels and respiratory health.*3

Gum Health: CoQ10 improves gum health and also supports tissue healing.*4

Back to that study I talked about earlier. Over a 15-month period it demonstrated the amazing power of this new form of CoQ10.

At 12 months of age, the point that equals late middle age for humans, the mice taking the new form were aging 22% slower than mice taking conventional CoQ10 and 51% slower than those taking none at all.

In other words, the mice taking Accel lived 51% longer than the mice that didn’t. Think of it… instead of living to age 80, you make it all the way to 121.

If you are taking CoQ10, this is great news. If you are not taking it, this is amazing news!

Those mice taking Accel looked responsive and energetic. They had no physical deformities, no lesions and showed no signs of aging. They had a bright, glossy coat – typical of youth.

They were running around like children. Imagine Accel having that affect on you.

But there’s more to the story…

Now Accel CoQ10 is new and improved.

We’ve added a vital new ingredient to Accel: tocotrienols, the most effective form of Vitamin E. This is great news! Tocotrienols are remarkable antioxidants. They have powerful heart benefits that:

Promote normal cholesterol levels

Encourage healthy triglyceride levels

Achieve normal blood pressure

And it doesn’t stop there. You’ll receive all the extra benefits of the new and improved Accel at no additional cost. In other words, you’ll get a more powerful supplement for the same money-saving price.

By combining the ubiquinol form of CoQ10 – the kind found in Accel – with tocotrienols, you’ll keep the tocotrienols active in your system for a longer period than just taking them alone.5 So the benefits to your heart are that much greater.

This is hands down the most powerful form of Accel ever formulated. And the benefits to your heart are unprecedented.

I take Accel every morning without fail. It’s the one supplement I plan to take for the rest of my life.

I recommend you do the same.

To Your Good Health,

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

I have some exciting news…

You have the power to decide which of your genes are “turned on.”

This means there’s no need for worry about your family history or whether good health “runs in your family.” For the first time, you decide which genetic codes are played out.

So, instead of sitting around hoping you inherited “good genes,” you can play an active role in your own future by turning on the genes that promote longevity – and turning off the genes that tell your cells to die.

You are about to take part in the exciting new field called “nutritional engineering.”

Imagine Your Golden Years…

When you visualize your future, what do you see? Are you playing tennis with your grandkids, or stuck in a nursing home watching TV?

The difference may be as easy as switching on the genes that keep you young and active.

In this letter, I’ll show you how it works and exactly what you can do to take advantage of this latest medical breakthrough.

Switch on the Good… Turn off the Bad… Resveratrol Lets You Choose Which Genes to Express and Which to Leave Silent

Some of the good anti-aging genes that get “switched on” with resveratrol are genes that:

Promote normal cell activity.*

Maintain healthy DNA.*

Enable insulin to assist glucose uptake into cells (promotes healthy glucose metabolism…)*

Help maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range.*

Some of the bad genes that get “switched off” with resveratrol are genes that:

Effect production of low density lipoproteins or LDL.

Override normal patterns regulating cell division (cuts off your body’s ability to regulate healthy cell production…)

Encourage production of insulin and inflammation.

Interfere with apoptosis.

Put the Brakes on Aging…

New research uncovered a gene that increases lifespan dramatically. Every living thing on earth carries this gene – including you. And there’s a nutrient that “turns it on.”

Modern science first discovered evidence of this “longevity gene” 20 years ago. It’s activated by a technique called caloric restriction. Researchers found that giving mice a nutritionally balanced diet with very few calories increased their lifespan.

Later studies revealed this effect wasn’t limited to mice: Calorie-restricted diets produced similar results across the board, from single-celled organisms to plants and mammals.

It wasn’t until recently that they found an explanation. They isolated a family of life-protecting genes called sirtuins (“silent information regulator proteins”). Sirtuins kick in under conditions of severe stress, bringing about a miraculous transformation.

They transmit signals to every cell in your body that literally cancel out the effects of aging. The process that leads cell death to slow to a crawl, buying your body more time to repair the DNA damage that brings life to an end.

This sounds great, but keep in mind that caloric restriction brings your daily calorie intake down to near starvation levels. Not exactly the kind of diet you can stick to.

The problem stumped scientists for years: How to “wake up” sleeping sirtuin genes (without caloric restriction)… Now we know these genes can be awakened and called upon to change your body in the course of a single lifetime – safely and naturally.

Aging Genes: Here’s the Good News…

You don’t have to starve yourself to switch on your longevity gene. You can activate it with a simple nutrient. It’s called resveratrol.*

Resveratrol shifts your cells into high gear, stimulating them to perform a variety of activities that promote health and longevity.*

Resveratrol also acts as a potent antioxidant, binding with “free radicals,” the molecules that cause cell damage and lead to death over time. And its power to enhance and prolong your life goes way beyond anti-aging. You could even say it’s nature’s wonder drug.*

During recent studies, resveratrol excelled across the board. Some of its benefits include:1

Promoting healthy glucose metabolism and optimal body weight.*

Supporting cardiovascular health.*

Enhanced mitochondrial energy production (the mitochondria are the tiny power plants inside each of your cells…)*

Improved motor function, including balance and coordination.*

That last benefit is worth repeating… Resveratrol improves your quality of life, by boosting your physical abilities. You would expect these daily skills to decline as you get older, right? Wrong. During the test of balance and coordination, those taking resveratrol made steady improvement as they aged.*

Resveratrol is found naturally in grapes, blueberries, cranberries, and other plants also make it. But it’s difficult – if not impossible – to get enough of it to create an anti-aging effect from food alone.

That’s why I tell my patients it’s possible to…

Turn Back Your Aging Clock With Powerful Antioxidants

Reseveratrol is a powerful, “high capacity” antioxidant. Not only does it protect the cells in your body from early death, it triggers the activation of your anti-aging genes.*

I’m sure you’ve heard of antioxidants. People throw that term around all the time. But they seldom tell you what they really are… or why you really need them.

Antioxidants protect every cell, tissue and organ in your body – keeping them healthier, longer. It’s just like a sandwich. If you leave it on the counter, the air makes the bread stale. And if you leave it out for a few days, the meat and cheese go rotten. (This destructive process is called oxidation. Oxidation is carried out by free radicals.)

But seal it in a zip-lock bag and throw it in the fridge, and it stays good for weeks. Your body is the same… Give your cells the right antioxidant protection and your body will last years – even decades – longer.*

Resveratrol is a major breakthrough. There’s no doubt about it… But there’s more to antioxidants. In fact, when you combine resveratrol with two powerful allies, you get a formula capable of real transformation.

And that’s exactly what I did…

I Matched Resveratrol With Two Powerhouse Antioxidants

Not content to simply offer you the mighty power of resveratrol on its own, I added EGCG (green tea extract) and SOD (the most potent antioxidant your body makes on its own).

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about green tea. Clinical testing continues to amaze the medical world. It’s one of nature’s great gifts.

But green tea is not always pleasant to drink. It has a bitter taste that most people shy away from. Even worse, you’d have to drink 6 to 8 cups (or more) a day to get the real anti-aging benefits.

I added green tea’s active ingredient (EGCG) in a dose that gives you the most effective anti-aging protection – without the bitterness.*

The studies prove it. Green tea extract:2,3,4,5

Zaps harmful free radicals.*

Promotes joint comfort and mobility.*

Supports healthy DNA, leaving cells stable and healthy.*

Boosts your exercise capacity by up to 30%.*

Is 25 to 100 times more potent than vitamins C and E.*

Wards off the problems that come with aging.*

Green tea is so powerful, it’s even recognized by the FDA. They recently approved the first prescription drug using a green tea extract called Veregen™.

Aging Genes: Activate the Genetic Pathways That Keep You Healthy Longer…

Green tea helps prevent your body’s cells from becoming damaged and prematurely aged. And like resveratrol, EGCG activates the genetic pathways that allow for a younger, healthier body.*

Studies back this up… A Boston University Medical School research team found that EGCG affects gene expression and promotes normal cell growth.6

Another study published in Phytotherapy Research details the remarkable ability of EGCG to maintain healthy arterial circulation.7

EGCG does it by beneficially altering the genetic coding of your LDL receptors.* That sounds a little complicated, but it’s easy to understand…

The cells in the lining of your blood vessels have receptors for LDL (the “bad” cholesterol).

EGCG changes the way your cells interact with LDL, making blood vessels resistant to LDL’s negative effects.*

Plus, all the chemicals and toxins in your environment – like dioxins, some PCBs, and some polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons – cause their damaging effects through the molecular pathway. Green tea shuts that pathway down.*

EGCG stops the ability of dangerous toxins to do their damage.*

Unleash Your Body’s “Master Guardian”

SOD – the third element in my super-antioxidant formula – is the most powerful antioxidant your body has. Antioxidants that come from vitamins and food sources pale in comparison. SOD is the “master guardian” of your body’s immune system and is your number one primary antioxidant.*

It’s so vital, production of SOD starts when you’re in the womb. In one study, genetically engineered mice whose bodies couldn’t make their own SOD died in just days from massive free radical damage.8

You see, antioxidants come from two places, your body and your diet. The ones your body can make – like SOD – are the primary antioxidants and the most powerful. Secondary antioxidants are the ones you get from your diet or supplements like CoQ10, vitamin E, etc.

Now you have access to the three most powerful antioxidants on the planet – all in one place. These are the active nutrients that switch on your anti-aging genes – and shut down the pathways that lead to cell death and old age.*

Remember back in the old days when doctors used to tell you that some people have “good genes” and others don’t? And that your chances of getting sick all depended on something you couldn’t change?

We know now that only part of that statement is true. Your genetic coding plays a vital role in the future of your own body. But you can definitely do something about it!

You now have the power to decide for yourself which genetic pathways are expressed.

It’s Your Choice…

If you do nothing, you leave your future to chance and heredity. In that case, it’s very possible your family history will take over and become a reality.

When you take RES-3, you have the opportunity to make a difference. By taking RES-3, you give your body the ammunition it needs to pull the right switches and shut down the problem areas.

RES-3 may be the most affordable “insurance policy” you’ll ever find. What better way to prevent a tragedy? And unlike most insurance policies, RES-3 pays big dividends. You’ll be rewarded with better health, longer life and best of all… freedom, strength and mobility as you age.

I stand behind RES-3. If you don’t feel the results, send it back and I’ll refund your money.

Now you have the power to control your own genetic code.

Have you seen the January 18th, 2010, issue of TIME magazine?

The cover story presents some exciting new research. It’s putting to rest the long-held belief that you’re stuck with what you got at birth.

If you think there’s nothing you can do to prevent getting a disease that runs in your family, think again.

As it turns out, you can literally reprogram your DNA – telling your body to slow aging, live longer, and prevent diseases.

Emerging New Science Puts You in the Driver’s Seat

This new branch of science is called epigenetics. Much to the surprise of the old way of thinking, your fate isn’t sealed by your DNA.

The evidence is startling: A study I read in Genome Research shows how one twin avoided disease while the other didn’t.

Identical twins share 100% of the same DNA. Not only do they share the same looks, they also usually share the same disorders and ailments.

For the study, researchers wanted to figure out why one twin had an autoimmune disease like lupus, and the other one didn’t, despite sharing identical genes.

The answer was found in their DNA. The twin that didn’t get lupus had genes that were programmed to keep the disease at bay. The one that did have it had that particular gene expression turned “on.”1

How was this possible? The choices each twin made had literally reprogrammed their DNA.

Change Your Children’s Genes

Did you know that any changes in your genetic expression made during your lifetime may get passed on to your children?

A study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences studied two groups of genetically identical pregnant mice.

Both groups were fed a normal diet. The only exception was that the second group received supplements that positively affect gene expression (B12, folate, zinc, and choline).

Both groups of mice gave birth to female mice. Those mice then gave birth as well.

The end result? The original “grandparent” group that received supplements passed on the changes in gene expression to the children and grandchildren.2

If you’re planning on having kids, this is huge. The actions you take today will most likely affect them and their own children.

One of the easiest ways to affect your gene expression in this lifetime is to live in a healthy environment. Take personal responsibility and eat right and exercise.

Avoid bad habits like smoking, excess drinking, and eating chemical-laden junk foods. All these negatively affect your genes and predispose you to disease.

Express the Genes That Fight Disease…

The impact of this study is far reaching.

Just because a disease like cancer runs in your family doesn’t mean you’re helpless. You don’t have to sit and wait to get sick.

You have some control over whether or not a disease catches up with you.

The “epigenome” makes this possible.

Simply put, the epigenome is a complex network of chemical switches. These switches surround your DNA and turn genes “on” and “off.”

But here’s where it gets interesting.

Your epigenome interacts every day with your environment. That means everything you come into contact with and everything you put into your body has the power to turn genes on or off via different chemical pathways.

The end result is the ability to change the way your body expresses your genetic coding.

Live Longer, Beat Disease

Today’s modern world is already predisposing your genes toward negative “expressions” that include disease.

That’s because your body is constantly absorbing toxins like heavy metals and harmful chemicals. Everything from the detergent you use to clean your clothes to the plastic bottles you drink from are to blame.

Smoking, excess alcohol, and poor diets also interact with the epigenome, telling it to switch on the “disease” genes.

The good news is, taking control of your genetic code is simpler that you might think.

It’s just a matter of developing good habits that promote positive gene expression. By doing so, you’ll boost your chances of living a longer, healthier, disease-free life.

For starters, keep your heart and lungs in good shape. Exercise as I describe in my PACE program. Not only will this prevent a slew of diseases on its own, it’ll also make your body better able to respond to negative environmental factors.

Next, eat whole, unprocessed foods. That means eating a similar diet to that of our ancestors.

Choose healthy proteins like grass-fed beef or free-range chicken. Wild-caught fish is good as well.

Eat plenty of vegetables and some fruits (preferably berries, as they’re high in protective antioxidants). They contain critical methyl-precursors. These are compounds that play an important role in the chemical process that actually changes gene expression.

Finally, there are a few supplements you can take that are proven to positively affect gene expression:

Omega-3 Fatty Acids – One study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that taking omega-3 daily tells your genes to prevent inflammation and hardening of the arteries.3 After just six months, the participants in the study had experienced a positive change in 1,040 of their genes. The best way to get your omega-3s is with a quality fish oil supplement. Aim for 1,000 to 2,000 mg per day.

Resveratrol – This powerful antioxidant found in red wine has recently been found to counteract age-related genetic change 92 percent of the time.4 That means it prevents your DNA strands from deteriorating, letting them live longer. Ultimately, this keeps you vibrant and healthy. You can find resveratrol as a supplement at your local health-food store. I suggest 200 mg per day.

SAMe (s-adenosylmethionine) – SAMe is a power methyl-donor. Simply put, it provides your epigenome with the critical building blocks it needs to switch your “good” genes on. It also prevents harmful substances in the environment from blocking vital chemical processes your DNA goes through to stay healthy and intact. Take 200 mg of SAMe per day for maximum benefit.

Vitamin B12 – This natural and inexpensive vitamin affects how long your DNA strands live. It does this by lengthening your DNA’s telomeres. Telomeres are a “tail” end to all your strands of DNA. Think of them as the biological countdown clock that tells your cells how long they have to live. As your cells divide, the telomeres become shorter. Once there’s no more telomere left, the cell dies. One of the best food sources are egg yolks and grass-fed beef. Otherwise you can supplement. Take anywhere from 100 to 500 mcg every day.

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

Scientists looked at people in perfect health… who later died heart disease. They found the death rate heart attack was three times higher for men whose telomeres got short the fastest.

On Oct. 26, 2008, people all over the country attended my first ever conference on telomeres (pronounced tell-o-meers).

Surrounded by some of the world’s most recognized, cutting-edge researchers in the field, we shared how telomeres are the key to aging. And everyone who witnessed the event walked away with the ability to control their aging clock and add years of abundant health to their lives.

Telomeres are the “time keepers” attached to every strand of your DNA. They’re critical to youthful cell function. But each time your cells divide, your telomeres get shorter. When your telomeres run down, cell division stops and your life ends.

The telomere is the most important discovery in human history. We now understand the mechanism of aging and how to influence it. Life on this planet will never be the same.

In fact, the discovery of telomeres just won the 2009 Nobel Prize in Medicine.

I’ve been researching the power of telomeres for years now. I’m the first physician ever licensed to administer TA-65 — the only commercially available treatment that lengthens human telomeres. TA-65 is the most dramatic advance in the world of life extension.

And now, I’ve discovered a way to apply this Nobel Prize-winning breakthrough to skin care. It virtually shuts down the aging of your skin’s DNA.

By repairing your skin’s DNA, you can plump up your skin and erase wrinkles, tighten up your sagging jaw line, make your crow’s feet disappear, and banish sun and aging spots.1

It all begins with an extract that slows the aging process and can extend the lifespan of your skin cells by up to 30%.2

This amazing extract, called teprenone, delays the shortening of your telomeres and protects your skin’s DNA so you can avoid many of the destructive effects that come with age.3

We all get a thrill when we’re told we look younger than we really are. We feel young, we think young, we act young … and we want to LOOK young, for as long as possible.

That’s why this compound is so exciting. It’s the single best – and easiest – thing you can do for your skin to restore the youth and energy you want the world to see.

Each and every day toxins bombard your skin. And when those enzymes disappear it degrades the proteins, antioxidants and oxygen your skin needs to thrive… and damages your skin’s DNA in the process.

Teprenone actively limits – even prevents – oxidative build up in your skin cells and protect your DNA by helping your skin to produce a protein that protects cells against oxidant damage. It also protects the antioxidant activity naturally produced by your skin cells.4

I made it one of the key ingredients in my new DNA Rejuvenation Cream, Revive.

My Revive DNA Rejuvenation Cream helps maintain telomeres and extend the lifespan of your skin cells. I’ve added other key ingredients to help erase all of the signs of aging and revive the youth and radiance of younger years.

These potent skin-saving ingredients have real science behind them. In clinical trials of women, the results were remarkable.

Check out these numbers:5

100% increased the level of moisture in their skin

100% saw sun spots improve significantly

Over 90% saw a decrease in redness and pore size

75% experienced an improvement in skin tone and elasticity

75% felt roughness and fine lines faded noticeably

Aging Skin Repair: Restore the Radiant, Supple and Smooth Skin of Your Youth

When you look at old pictures, you might find yourself surprised to see the beautiful face you wore as a teenager. You probably still envision yourself the same … clear, tight skin … fleshy cheeks … high forehead.

Teprenone is a stunning breakthrough. But there’s more to the story. Great skin also needs hyaluronic acid (HA). You had plenty when you were young, but it drops off as you age.

You may have heard of HA before. You’ll find it in popular fillers that dermatologists inject into the skin to puff up your lips, neutralize your frown lines and smooth out your skin.

There’s a good reason it’s such a popular cosmetic enhancement. HA has the amazing ability to hold vast amounts of water… absorbing around 1000 times its weight in water.

Without enough moisture, your skin becomes loose, dry and wrinkled… adding years to your age.

But when your skin has enough HA, all that water plumps up your skin, enhancing volume and elasticity to restore a youthful balance to your face.

You don’t have to get an injection to receive the benefits of HA. When you use it topically, you still get great results.

That’s because your skin can absorb HA at a cellular level. Unlike some other moisturizers that simply sit on the top of your skin, HA sinks into the deeper levels of your skin tissue.

It also acts as a “carrier,”6 delivering all of the anti-aging ingredients in Revive deeply into your cells for a younger looking face.

You’ll even notice age spots start to get lighter and eventually fade.

Those dark spots on your skin, known as sunspots or age spots, are a natural darkening that occurs in response to the sun’s UV rays. Repairing and protecting your skin is the only way to get rid of them, and prevent more occurring.

The ingredients in Revive work to repair skin the DNA level. In fact, clinical trials showed that Revive increased cell resistance to harmful UVB by as much as 100%.7

Squalane is a naturally-occurring lipid in your skin. You had plenty of it during your childhood and into your teen years. The problem is, once you enter your 20s, the amount of squalane in your skin decreases rapidly.

More importantly, that loss of squalane opens you up to sunburn and damage caused by the suns UV rays.8

Squalane has a powerful hydrating action and penetrates into the deepest layer of your skin for the most protection. At the same time, it produces a barrier against water loss, restoring moisture and suppleness to your face, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

The addition of this pure, essential oil to my formula encourages cell regeneration and leaves your face soft and glowing for the world to see.

And that’s good news. Today it’s becoming more and more important to choose natural products for your precious skin. That’s why I’ve developed a blend of the finest and most powerful natural ingredients for Revive.

It’s unfortunate, but women all over America and across the globe slather dangerous chemicals on their faces every day. The ingredients in a large number of so-called “anti-aging” skincare products can damage your DNA and prevent it repairing itself.

One of the skincare industry’s biggest mistakes was PABA, an ingredient added to products to reduce the damage the sun’s UV rays.

When studies were performed on PABA it was determined that, in the dark, it’s harmless. Expose it to sunlight, and it starts attacking your DNA. So while it may prevent you getting sunburn, it could easily contribute to sun-related cancers.9

Another ingredient found in some skin lotions and facial cleansers is ethylene glycol. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), you’ll find this compound in antifreeze and de-icing solutions for cars, airplanes, and boats.

Is this really something you want to put on your face?

Here’s another one you should know about: propylene glycol is an active ingredient in at least 12,080 products that touch your skin. You’ll find it in cosmetics as an additive to help you retain moisture and build a moisture barrier.

Propylene glycol is often an ingredient in antifreeze, tire sealant, rubber cleaner, paint, degreasers and adhesives.

Need I say more?

You won’t find any parabens, carcinogens, pollutants or gasoline distillates of any kind in my products.

When you use Revive, you can rest assured that every single ingredient is natural, healthful, and hand-selected by me to provide a healthy, vibrant look to you skin… with no cause for concern.

Your skin is the largest organ of your body. When it’s maintained properly with effective skincare, it can lead to an overall healthier and younger lifestyle.

In this letter, you’ve already discovered the huge impact your telomeres and DNA have on the age of your skin, and how Revive literally halts your skin’s aging process.

I stand by my Revive Rejuvenation Cream.

I guarantee you’re going to love the way your face looks after using Revive. If you’re not entirely happy, I’ll send you a full refund, no questions asked. Just return the empty or partially used jar, and I’ll make sure you get all of your money back.

But once you discover how radiant and vibrant your skin looks with Revive, you won’t want to part with it for any amount of money.

Get started today, and feel the joy that comes with a healthier, more youthful face.

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

When resveratrol made its debut on CBS’s 60 Minutes it was a watershed event. A major media outlet finally acknowledged a natural nutrient could slow the way you age and keep you younger longer.

But the show’s producers missed the bigger message.

This tears down the long held beliefs about your genetic code. It changed everything overnight.

Now we know that your genes are not holding you captive.

Even if you have a family history of a specific condition you can turn off that gene and turn on the genes that promote health and longevity.

In other words, what you inherited from your family is not set in stone.

The story of your life and how it plays out is open ended. You can pull the strings and levers inside your own DNA and decide for yourself what happens to you.

This is one of the most exciting breakthroughs in our time. You get to write your own life story. No more worry or anxiety about “acts of fate” you can’t control.

Some of the good anti-aging genes you can “switch on” are genes that:

Promote normal cell activity (prevents damaged cells from multiplying).

Stimulate DNA repair (fixes damaged chromosomes).

Enable insulin to assist glucose uptake into cells (normalizes blood sugar).

Facilitate production of beneficial high-density lipoprotein or HDL. (Ramps up good cholesterol.)

Some of the bad genes you can “switch off” are genes that:

Boost production of potentially harmful low-density lipoproteins or LDL (creates more of the bad cholesterol).

Override normal patterns regulating cell division (cuts off your body’s ability to regulate healthy cell production).

Promote excess production of insulin and inflammation (causing fat gain, swelling and joint pain).

Interfere with apoptosis (programmed cell death) of damaged cells (allows the bad cells to grow without limits).

Here’s another thing 60 Minutes missed… their story featured only one of these breakthrough nutrients. Resveratrol is worth the big headlines. But it’s only one of the players than enables you to call the shots inside your own genetic code.

Here at my clinic I combine two other nutrients with resveratrol for a formula with stronger gene-switching power.

I added EGCG (green tea extract) and SOD (the most potent antioxidant your body makes on its own).

I’m sure you’ve heard about green tea. Clinical testing continues to amaze the medical world. It’s one of nature’s great gifts.

SOD is the most powerful antioxidant your body has. Antioxidants that come from vitamins and food sources pale in comparison. SOD is the “master guardian” of your body’s immune system and is your number one primary antioxidant.

It’s so vital, production of SOD starts when you’re in the womb. In one study, genetically engineered mice whose bodies couldn’t make their own SOD died in just days from massive free radical damage.1

You don’t have to figure out which genes will give you the happiest, most vibrant life. These nutrients do it for you.

All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the gifts they bring.

Together these three nutrients make what I call RES-3. It’s ready for you right now.

I recommend you get yours before they disappear.

Check out this graph:

— John H., Bradenton, FL

And that’s only the beginning. A few years down the road, we may find that Accel makes age-related memory loss and other conditions associated with aging a thing of the past!*

Sears!” **
— Patty Newfane, VT

Now Accel is new and improved.

Al Sears, MD

P.S. – I stand by Accel 100%. If you ever feel it’s not for you, I’ll refund every penny. But I don’t imagine you’ll want to send it back. Accel is the best “insurance policy” you’ll ever find. And compared to the soaring cost of health insurance, Accel is a great bargain too.

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

Look at the ingredients on all those skin products out there, from moisturizers to sunscreens to shampoos, you’ll find health-threatening chemicals–propylene glycol, parabens, PABA, PEG, and mineral oil everywhere.

These chemicals pose real dangers to your health, including cancer. And, sadly they are FDA approved and labeled as healthy.

Did you know that mineral oil is a “by-product in the distillation of petroleum to produce gasoline”? And, did you know that baby oil is just mineral oil with fragrance?

Johnson’s Baby Shampoo “No More Tears” formula contains cocamidopropyl betaine, PEG-80 sorbitan laurate, sodium trideceth sulfate, PEG-150 distearate, polyquaternium-10, polyquaternium-10, tTetrasodikum EDTA, quaternium-15, and others.

Does this sound like something you want to use on your baby?

Even many of the so-called “natural” cosmetics and skin creams are loaded with potentially harmful chemicals. During our research we uncovered hundreds of examples.

One expensive, department-store skin cream that boasts “anti-aging” power with the additional benefit of vitamin B5 has chemicals that are linked to:

Developmental/reproductive toxicity

Violations, restrictions & warnings

Allergies/immunotoxicity

Neurotoxicity

Persistence and bioaccumulation

Other problems included: Organ system toxicity (non-reproductive), irritation (skin, eyes, or lungs), enhanced skin absorption, contamination concerns, biochemical or cellular level changes… just to name a few.1

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice your health or risk disease for the sake of looking and feeling good. But your choices for clean, effective skin care are remarkably slim.

I founded Pure Radiance to change that.

Now you have real options.

To give you safe and effective alternatives, I’m introducing a new monthly letter Ageless Beauty. Plus, you’ll get weekly Ageless Beauty Secrets packed with winning strategies designed to keep you looking younger and more beautiful as you age.

Every month you’ll hear from my staff of beauty and skin care experts, including my clinic’s nurse practitioner Tara Smith, ARNP-NCP and award winning fitness trainer Coach Yari.

I’ll share easy-to-follow anti-aging therapies for your skin and show you how to apply the latest breakthroughs in telomere biology. These therapies, including TA-65, can slow the aging of your skin to help you look youthful regardless of your age.

To get you started I’ll send you The Skin Care Industry’s Billion Dollar Lie, a special report that uncovers the most dangerous chemicals found in today’s popular products and how to avoid them.

You’ll also discover the 7 most powerful antioxidants for your skin. These high-powered nutrients nourish and protect your skin, hair and nails. They help prevent the drying, sagging and weathering that comes from aging. They’re inexpensive and easy to find.

Here are just a few examples:

Vitamin C: Few of my patients realize this, but vitamin C is critical for your skin. Vitamin C helps produce collagen and elastin, both are vital for keeping your skin firm, vibrant and youthful. Take at least 500 milligrams twice per day with food.

Carotenoids: Key antioxidants that not only promote skin health; they’re great for your eyesight and also lower your risk of lung and breast cancer. Be sure to look for “mixed carotenoids” when you buy. Take 2,500 IU daily.

The Skin Care Industry’s Billion Dollar Lie and Ageless Beauty are free of charge. They’re yours for the asking.

On Oct. 26, 2008, people from all over the country attended my first ever conference on telomeres (pronounced tell-o-meers).

I’m the first physician ever licensed to administer TA-65 – the only commercially available treatment that lengthens human telomeres.

Restore the Radiant, Supple and Smooth Skin of Your Youth

Repairing and protecting your skin is the only way to get rid of them, and prevent more from occurring.

The ingredients in Revive work to repair skin from the DNA level.

The ingredients in a large number of so-called “anti-aging” skincare products can damage your DNA and prevent it from repairing itself.

Don’t waste your money on calcium supplements.

If you’re taking them hoping to build strong bones and avoid osteoporosis you’ll be let down on both fronts.

Doctors and drug companies push the idea that the best way to treat and prevent osteoporosis is by taking lots of calcium. This simply isn’t true.

Osteoporosis isn’t caused by a lack of calcium.

Studies come to the same conclusion: calcium intake does not prevent fractures due to bone loss.

The Harvard Nurses’ Study is one of the most complete and well-conducted studies in science. The study followed 77,761 nurses. For 12 years, researchers examined the association between dietary calcium and bone fractures.

Results showed there was no protection from fractures with any dose of calcium intake. Nurses who had the highest calcium intakes actually had an increased risk of bone fracture.1

An Australian study confirms the result of the Harvard Nurses’ Study. This study also looked at the association between calcium and fracture risk. The study looked at lifetime calcium consumption in over 400 elderly participants. The study concluded that calcium consumption in early adulthood actually increased the risk of bone fractures as the person aged.2

Doctors in the UK found that calcium and vitamin D did not prevent fractures.3 Their two-year study showed that neither calcium nor vitamin D lowered the number of fractures in women over age seventy.

So, what controls bone loss? Hormones and exercise.

Bone building is hormonal. In women, estrogens are the main regulators of bone health and breakdown. Progesterone controls the rate of new bone deposition. But the most powerful bone builder in both men and women is testosterone. Testosterone is central for achieving maximal bone mass and strength.

Taking calcium supplements will give you a short-term boost in bone density, but that’s it. Over time, your hormones will work against the extra calcium and actually leave your bones more brittle than before.

Consider this: The US has the highest intake of calcium, yet our rates of osteoporosis are the highest in the world. Countries with lower intakes of calcium have lower rates of hip fracture and osteoporosis.4

Maintaining healthy levels of hormones in your body is one way to keep your bones strong.

There is an easy and inexpensive hormone precursor shown to improve the levels of other sex hormones. It’s called DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone). It is involved in the manufacturing of most major sex hormones in the body, like estrogen and testosterone. DHEA treatments are becoming more common.

You can get it over the counter but I don’t advise anyone take DHEA without having their blood levels checked. You will have to ask your doctor to measure it.

Physical inactivity will also lead to weakening of your bones. Your bones need to bear weight in order to become strong. When you do weight bearing activities, you are telling your bones that they must become strong in order to continue these activities.

You do this by encouraging them to push more weight. Challenging your muscles and bones with weight bearing exercises is crucial. Walking, cycling, weight training or playing tennis or golf will help.

In spite of what you hear on TV, calcium supplements have little to do with the strength of your bones. If you want strong bones for life, here are six things you can do right now:

Exercise: The best to increase bone density and reduce fractures is body weight exercises (like calisthenics) and resistance training. Make a habit of doing these exercises two or three times a week. Thirty minutes of walking a day will lower your risk of fracture by 30 percent.4

When you exercise, your muscles pull on your bones. This pressure creates a challenge that your body responds to by increasing bone density. This will ensure that you stay mobile and independent.

Skip calcium supplements: Get your calcium in your diet. Eat a variety of small fish, dark, leafy green vegetables, almonds and cashews, or dairy products like milk, cheese, and yogurt. You should be aiming for about 400 mg per day.

Take a vitamin D supplement: I recommend 400 IU per day. It helps your body absorb calcium and maintain bone density. Without vitamin D, calcium supplements are worthless. The best source of vitamin D is the sun – 10 to 15 minutes of exposure a day should be enough. During the winter, take cod liver oil. It’s by far the best supplemental source of vitamin D.

Eat your greens: Vitamin K found in dark leafy greens regulates calcium while stabilizing bones in addition to regulating blood clotting. Eat at least one serving of green vegetables like spinach, kale, collard greens, mustard greens, Brussels sprouts or broccoli every day. One study found people eating just 0.1 milligrams of vitamin K daily (about one large serving of greens) were 30% less likely to break their hips than people who ate less than that amount.

Another university study showed that vegetables and herbs improve your bone metabolism. Researchers found that rats that missed out on their veggies had much lower bone density.5 Another showed that fruits and vegetables increase your bone density. The same study found that dairy products did nothing.6

Eat foods rich in B-complex vitamins: Your body also uses a variety of B vitamins in bone building. The best sources are liver, eggs, lean meats, yeast, fish, raw nuts, asparagus, broccoli and bananas.

Get a blood test: A simple blood test will tell you how your hormone levels affect your bone health. This is the best way to determine the health of your bones and your risk for fracture. Women may need to take natural progesterone. For both men and women testosterone is the most powerful controller of your bone density.

To arrange for your own blood test, talk to your doctor. Or contact Quest Diagnostics at 1-800-377-8448 for a location near you. If you can get to Florida, call my office at 561-784-7852.

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

I’ve developed a new “sunscreen capsule” that protects your skin from the inside out.

Now you can protect your skin from the sun’s rays without covering yourself in a greasy layer of toxic sunscreen. And there’s much more to the story.

This high-powered ingredient prevents long-term damage to your skin. That means you won’t be left with dry, weathered skin as you age.

I’m sure you’ve seen people with deep grooves in their face… their skin looks like a dried-up piece of leather. This new discovery safeguards your skin, making big wrinkles a thing of the past. For the first time, keeping a youthful glow into old age isn’t just wishful thinking.

During my studies with our Wellness Research Foundation, I discovered good skin is not just about age: I found older patients who looked radiant and younger patients with dry, cracked faces. I knew there was a nutritional link and now I have identified your body’s most powerful skin protector.

For the first time in the history of medicine, you can now take a “sunscreen capsule” with just a glass of water. And that’s great news…

If you’re a regular reader, you know getting 10 to 15 minutes of sunshine a day is critical for good health. It’s a well-known fact. But too much exposure can wreck your skin; speed up your aging and even lead to more serious skin issues.

Silence that voice in the back of your mind that wonders, “Did I get too much sun today?… Is my skin sun damaged?… I should use sunscreen, but it’s full of chemicals…”

There’s no reason for stress or anxiety. The research and clinical results supporting this discovery are astounding. Let me share them with you.

Get 8 Times the Protection from the Sun – In a Capsule!

Dermatologists
Prove It…

The High-Powered SOD
You’ll Find in Radiance
Passes Clinical Tests
with Flying Colors!

15 people who redden easily or have hypersensitivity to the sun, took the new form of SOD I use in my Radiance formula. After three to eight weeks of normal sun exposure, 100% of the people in the study reported a higher tolerance and significantly lower tendency to redden, flush or have sun-induced skin irritation, when compared to previous experiences of summer sun exposure.*

In another study, 150 people took this new form of SOD daily for two months and kept their sunbathing routines consistent. They were split into three groups: 75 people who usually have significant flushing or reddening almost immediately during exposure; 60 who experience moderate sun reactions, and 15 patients who experience other reactions like irritated skin.

Results after four to eight weeks: 64 in the first group of sensitive sunbathers reported excellent tolerance to continued sun exposure. In the second group, 44 had no experience of sun burn or negative reactions. And in group three, a full 100% of the people reported none of the usual symptoms they usually experienced with sunbathing. Overall, 82% of people judged their skin was well prepared for sun exposure.*

This was an open study conducted in France on 150 patients by 40 dermatologists following a protocol compiled by Catherine Laverdet, MD, et al. Sponsored by ISOCELL Nutra, France. March 2005

When dermatologists at the Center Hospital University in France finished their study of this remarkable ingredient, they were stunned… They used UV light to give sunburns on the forearms of 50 people once a week for four weeks. The volunteers took this new capsule or a placebo (dummy pill) each day.1

The researchers used something called chromometry to measure skin color and videocapillaroscopy to measure inflammatory changes in the skin. The people taking the “sunscreen capsule” had a dramatic increase in the minimum amount of exposure necessary to produce sunburn. Even fair-skinned people required eight times more UV exposure to produce sunburn than did the placebo group.*

That means they needed 8 times more sunlight to produce the same sunburn the other group received with no protection! Just a single capsule ramps up your sun protection by 800%.*

Here’s where the story gets even more fascinating… Once burning occurred, the redness went away much faster in the “sunscreen capsule” group. They also had less skin inflammation – the painful redness and puffiness you get from sunburn.*

This powerful ingredient was extremely fast acting, with just two to three days of supplementation before they received the first sunburn from the researchers.

Here’s what one of the researchers said, “This study confirms the efficacy of [this ingredient] in the prevention of the consequences of oxidative stress resulting from exposure to the sun.* This efficacy is of particular interest for [fair-skinned individuals] that represent a major part of the consultations in dermatology.”

In every-day language, that means you can wipe out the damage of sun exposure and sunburn – and keep your skin looking great for years to come.*

Imagine working in your garden without having a painful, red neck at the end of the day… Or going in and out of your pool on a hot summer day without the worry of a nasty burn…

This new discovery is, by far, the easiest and most convenient way to protect yourself from long-term sun damage. And may be the only reliable way to keep youthful skin as you age.*

Get the Only “Usable” Source of This Breakthrough Nutrient…

The remarkable ingredient that amazed French researchers isn’t new… we’ve known about it for decades. But until now, there was no way for you to take it as a supplement. I’m talking about SOD (superoxide dismutase).

Structure of the active site of human superoxide dismutase

SOD is the most powerful antioxidant your body has. Antioxidants that come from vitamins and food sources pale in comparison. SOD is the “master guardian” of your body’s immune system and is your number one primary antioxidant.*

It’s so vital, production of SOD starts when you’re in the womb. In one study, genetically engineered mice whose bodies couldn’t make their own SOD died in just days from massive free radical damage.2

You see, antioxidants come from two places, your body and your diet. The ones your body can make – like SOD – are the primary antioxidants and the most powerful. Secondary antioxidants are the ones you get from your diet or supplements, like CoQ10 and Vitamin E.

In the past, I’ve told you about secondary antioxidants like CoQ10… They are very powerful and I use them with my patients every day. But for the first time in medical history, we have a way to get your body to make more of its own SOD.

This is a remarkable achievement and very exciting news. So far, this new kind of SOD is the only way to boost your body’s level of SOD.

Here’s why: SOD is such a fragile molecule, it was impossible for it to get through your digestive system without being destroyed. Ongoing research has shown:3

Free SOD is destroyed in the stomach.

Oral supplementation of free SOD does not increase tissue SOD activity.

A small percentage of native SOD can be presented in the intestinal tract but cannot translocate the Gastrointestinal (GI) barrier.

These past challenges make this new form a real breakthrough… This patented technology (US Patent 6 04 5809) wraps SOD in a protective coating, sending it through your digestive tract without being damaged. When it’s safe, SOD is efficiently absorbed by your small intestine – with all its power intact.

I worked out a deal with the makers of this new SOD to make it a part of my “sunscreen capsule” formula I call Radiance.

Let Other People Worry About a Weary, Weathered Face – You Can Have a Second Shot at Younger-Looking Skin

Radiance keeps you safe from the sun’s rays. It’s also your best chance at keeping a fresh, taut face that projects a clean, warm glow…*

And unlike chemical sunscreens, Radiance won’t stop the sun from helping your body make vital vitamin D while you’re out walking or enjoying a barbeque or spending time with your family outdoors. That way, you get all the sun’s benefits and none of the risks.

SOD doesn’t just seek and destroy free radicals. That’s what secondary antioxidants do. SOD actually raises the response of your entire immune system. This makes every cell in your body more resilient and better able to fight off attacks from the outside. No other antioxidant even comes close to this kind of power.*

That’s why the clinical results are so impressive. SOD is the first antioxidant to attack harmful superoxide radicals by transforming them into less reactive ions. This is what happens during sun exposure… SOD zaps the destructive free radicals that form when sunlight hits your skin – and it powers up your immune system at the same time.*

To make Radiance even more effective, I added 5 powerful skin-saving ingredients. Each one on its own would be enough to reverse years of sun damage. Together, they form an unbeatable barrier against harmful UV rays.*

Meet the Radiance all stars:

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

I’m no clairvoyant, but this is one time I predicted something and actually got it right. And I have it recorded.

During my telomere conference I said Elizabeth Blackburn should win a Nobel Prize for her discovery of the telomere, the “caps” at the end of chromosomes. That was October of last year.

Then on October 5th – almost one year ago to the day – the Nobel Prize in medicine was awarded to Elizabeth Blackburn and her colleagues for their research on telomeres.

Let me be clear: The science of telomere biology is the most important discovery in human history. We now understand the mechanism of aging and how to influence it. Life on this planet will never be the same.

If you’re a regular reader you know each time your cells divide, your telomeres get shorter. When your telomeres run down, cell division stops and your life ends.

Slowing the loss of your telomeres lengthens your life, keeps your cells younger and protects you from chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer.

Here’s the good news: Telomere technology is not years or decades away.

It’s available to you right now.

There are concrete ways to slow the shortening of your telomeres. You don’t need to wait years for a drug to appear.

Watch the now historic telomere conference right now. In it I show you exactly how to protect your telomeres and extend your health span. The solutions are simple and inexpensive. And they work.

Click here and see it for yourself.

To Your Good Health,

P.S. – My comment about Elizabeth winning the Nobel Prize starts around 16 minutes and 20 seconds into the DVD.
